I am reading Wuthering Heights for a class, and I am just chuckling nonstop at how horrible and unreasonable and INSUFFERABLE every single character is. HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO EMPATHIZE WITH ANYONE WHEN THEY’RE ALL FUCKING TERRIBLE ASSHATS? LOL, but I’m enjoying it.

Tonight I’m spending the night in Kansas City and in the morning I’m flying out to New Orleans for the Sigma Tau Delta convention. IT’S GONNA BE A FUCKING BLAST. I’m presenting a paper on internalized misogyny in Flannery O’Connor, and my paper SUCKS ALL THE DICKS, but it’ll be fun anyway. BECAUSE NEW ORLEANS AND BOOK STORES AND LOTS OF ALCOHOL WITH OTHER ENGLISH MAJORS. <3 AND ALSO MEETING NATASHA TRETHEWAY WHO I JUST WROTE A PAPER ON BECAUSE HER POETRY IS BOSS.
